Ingredient
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) orange juice*
- 1/3 cup (80 mL) brown sugar
- 4 cups (1 L) diced rhubarb
- 2 cups (500 mL) strawberries
- 1/2 tsp. (2 mL) ground cinnamon
Preparation
- Bring orange juice and brown sugar to a boil. Add rhubarb and simmer 5 minutes. Add strawberries and cinnamon. Cook 2 more minutes. Cover and cool in the refrigerator.
Cook commentary
Servings: 12 (1 litre/4 cups)
Suggestion: For an interesting variation, use cranberries instead of rhubarb.
