Ingrédient
- As required butter*
- 2 cups (500 mL) all-purpose flour*
- 2 1/2 tsp. (12 mL) baking powder*
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) salt
- 1/4 cup (60 mL) white sugar*
- 1/3 cup (80 mL) butter*
- 1 cup (250 mL) milk
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) Irresistible vanilla extract*
- 4 cups (1 L) berries; strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries
- To taste icing sugar
Preparation
- Butter a cookie sheet. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Add the butter and cut it with 2 knives to obtain a granular texture. Add the vanilla extract to the milk.
- Pour the milk little by little into the flour mixture until a damp dough is formed. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 1 in. (2.5 cm) on a lightly flour-covered surface. Form 8 cookies from the dough with a cookie cutter 2 1/2 in. (6 cm) in diameter.
- Preheat the oven to 375ºF/190ºC. Place on the cookie sheet and cook for 20 to 25 minutes or until the surface is golden brown. Let cool at room temperature.Separate in 2 and garnish with the lemon cream and berries. Sprinkle with icing sugar.
