ingredient
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) all-purpose flour*
- 8 lamb chops
- 1 medium egg, lightly beaten*
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) fresh lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) melted butter*
- 3 Tbsp. (45 mL) bread crumbs*
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) sesame seeds
- Pinch white pepper
- Pinch powdered oregano
Preparation
- Lightly coat the chops with the flour. In bowl, mix the egg, lemon juice and melted butter. In another bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, sesame seeds, pepper and oregano.
- Dip each lamb chop into the egg mixture and then the sesame mixture. Refrigerate for 10 to 15 minutes.
- In a frying pan, grill the chops about 8 minutes or until the desired doneness

Grill the lamb chops in as little oil as possible as lamb is a fatty meat. To bring out the full flavour of lamb, it's best to eat it pink. Medium or full-bodied wine.
