ingredient
- 160 g (1/2 package) linguine
- 30 mL (2 tbsp.) Compliments olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 450 g (1 lb.) boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into strips
- 750 mL (3 cups) Swiss chard, chopped (leaves and stems)
- 4 Italian tomatoes, diced
- 45 mL (3 tbsp.) pesto
- A few fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
- Cook pasta al dente in boiling salted water. Heat oil in a skillet and fry garlic for 1 to 2 minutes. Add chicken and cook for about 15 minutes.
- Add Swiss chard and cook for 3 to 5 minutes. Add tomatoes at the end of cooking. Add pasta and pesto and combine. Sprinkle with basil. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
