Ingredient
- 4 peaches, fresh and peeled
- 237 ml (1 cup) fresh berries (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries?)
- 118 ml (1/2 cup) brown sugar, lightly packed
- 45 ml (3 tbsp) all-purpose flour
- 2.5 ml (1/2 tsp) nutmeg
- 1.2 ml (1/4 tsp) ground ginger
Crust
- 156 ml (2/3 cup) all-purpose flour
- 156 ml (2/3 cup) oatmeal, plain and regular
- 118 ml (1/2 cup) brown sugar
- 1.2 ml (1/4 tsp) nutmeg
- 1.2 ml (1/4 tsp) ground ginger
- 118 ml (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, at room temperature
Crust
- To make crust topping, combine flour, oatmeal, brown sugar and spices in a bowl. Add butter.
- Pour oatmeal preparation over fruit and press to even out texture. Bake on middle rack of oven for 40 to 50 minutes. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream.
