Ingredients
- 10 potatoes, peeled and diced
- 2 cloves garlic
- 125 ml (1/2 cup) cream 15% m.f.
- To taste salt and pepper
- A pinch ground nutmeg
- 180 ml (3/4 cup) Oka cheese, rind removed and in small cubes
Directions
- Cook potatoes and garlic in boiling salted water until tender (about 6-7 minutes). Drain thoroughly. Return potatoes and garlic to saucepan and place over low heat.
- Mash potatoes and garlic with a potato masher or fork. Once mashed, gradually add cream, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
- With a spatula, mix while adding Oka cheese. This purée goes well with both meat and fish
