STREUSEL
- 1/4 cup (50 mL) packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup (50 mL) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp (5 mL) cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp (25 mL) butter or margarine, softened
MUFFINS
- 2 cups (500 mL) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) granulated sugar
- 2 tsp (10 mL) baking powder
- 1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) chopped walnuts
- 1 egg
- 1 cup (250 mL) milk
- 1/3 cup (75 mL) butter or margarine, melted
- 2 tsp (10 mL) grated orange rind
- 3/4 cup (175 mL) Ocean Spray® Whole Berry Cranberry Sauce
STREUSEL
- Combine streusel ingredients until crumbly, set aside.
MUFFINS
- For muffins, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and nuts. Combine remaining ingredients, except sauce. Stir in dry mixture just until moistened.
- Spoon batter into greased large muffin tins. Top each with 1 Tbsp/15 mL sauce: sprinkle with streusel. Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 25 to 30 minutes.
