Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp (15 mL) vegetable oil
- 1 lb (500g) lean pork loin, cut in 1/2 in/1 cm cubes
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) coarsely chopped red onion
- 1 medium red or green pepper, cut in thin strips
- 2 cups (500 mL) broccoli florets
- 1 cup (250 mL) julienne cut carrots
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) Wong Wing Plum Sauce
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) L'Ambiance White Wine
- 2 tsp (10 mL) cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp (1 mL) crushed red pepper
Preparation
- In large nonstick skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Brown pork with garlic and onion 3 minutes. Add peppers, broccoli and carrots; cook, stirring occasionally, 5-8 minutes or until vegetables are just tender.
- Combine plum sauce, wine, cornstarch and crushed red pepper. Add to skillet and bring to boil. Season with salt to taste. Serve over hot cooked rice, if desired.
