Quick Chocolate Fudge Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 can (385 ml) NESTLÉ® CARNATION® 2% or Regular Evaporated Milk
  • 1/4 cup corn syrup 50 ml
  • 2 tsp vanilla 10 ml
  • Steps:
  • Combine cocoa with sugar in saucepan; gradually stir in evaporated milk, corn syrup and vanilla. Bring to boil over medium-high heat; cook, stirring constantly, for 8 minutes or until slightly thickened. Let cool. Sauce can be stored in refrigerator for up to one week. Bring to room temperature or heat slightly to serve.
  • Makes 1 cup (250 ml).
  • Nutrients per 2 tbsp/30 ml serving (with 2% evaporated milk):
  • about 97 Calories, 3.6 g Protein, 1.2 g Fat, 18 g Carbohydrates.
