ingredient
- 2 tblsp (30 mL) butter
- 3 chopped onions
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) maple syrup
- 1 sprig thyme
- Salt and ground pepper
Preparation
- In a casserole, melt butter. Add chopped onions and cook over high heat until onions turn golden.
- Add maple syrup and leaves from sprig of thyme. Cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add salt and pepper. Serve hot or cold.
