ingredient

  • 2 tblsp (30 mL) butter
  • 3 chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) maple syrup
  • 1 sprig thyme
  • Salt and ground pepper

Preparation

  1. In a casserole, melt butter. Add chopped onions and cook over high heat until onions turn golden.
  2. Add maple syrup and leaves from sprig of thyme. Cook 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add salt and pepper. Serve hot or cold.
