ingredient
- 2 cans (10 oz/284 mL each) green peas
- 25 small new carrots
- 20 small new potatoes
- 4 tbsp (60 mL) liquid honey
- 4 tbsp (60 mL) butter
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) granulated sugar
Preparation
- In small saucepan, warm green peas. Meanwhile, cook carrots and potatoes in boiling water, until tender crisp. Drain all three vegetables and combine in larger saucepan.
- Cook over low heat and stir in honey, butter and sugar. Mix well and warm through for 4 minutes while stirring. Serve hot.
