Devilishly good potatoes

ingredient

  • 2 potatoes
  • 1 1/2 tbsp (25 mL) butter
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) hot whipping (35%) cream
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) diced Canadian Oka or aged Gouda
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Peel and wash 2 potatoes. Boil in a saucepan until easily pierced with a fork. Drain and mash by hand or with an electric mixer. Add 1 1/2 tbsp (25 mL) butter and 1/2 cup (125 mL) hot whipping (35%) cream.
  2. Salt and pepper to taste, and add 3/4 cup (175 mL) diced Canadian Oka or aged Gouda. Stir until cheese is melted.
