Ingredients
- 4 pork chops cut 1/2-in. (2 cm) thick
- Freshly ground pepper to taste
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) Irresistibles extra virgin olive oil*
- 2 Braeburn apples, peeled, cored and cut into thick slices
- 2 Tbsp. (30 mL) honey*
- 1 Tbsp. (15 mL) chopped parsley
Preparation
- To pan-fry Heat half the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Brown chops 3 - 4 minutes per side.
- Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 12 minutes.
- Barbecue Preheat barbecue to medium heat.
- Brush pork chops with oil (1Tbsp-15 mL) and set on the grill. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side. Remove chops and keep them warm.
- Honeyed Apples In a skillet, heat remaining oil. Add apples, honey and parsley and cook 6 - 7 minutes. Serve apples over pork chops.

Suggestion Use a melon baller to core apples and a serrated knife to slice them.
