Ingredients
- 1 cup (250mL) CHIPITS® Premium Dark or Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp (5mL) vanilla (or 1/2 tsp/2 mL almond extract)
- 1 cup (250mL) whipping cream (35%)
- 1 tbsp (15mL) liqueur, optional
- Whipped cream, chocolate shavings, raspberries for garnish
Preparation
- Place chocolate chips, egg and vanilla in food processor.
- Heat cream in microwave or small saucepan until very hot and bubbles appear; do not boil. With processor running, pour in cream, blending until smooth and chocolate is melted. Mix in liqueur, if using.
- Pour into small dessert bowls or espresso cups. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight, until set. Garnish as desired.

Yield: 6 servings
This rich, creamy chocolate mousse is ready in minutes. Add a touch of your favourite liqueur - raspberry, orange, amaretto, kahlua, etc, if desired. Top with whipped cream, chocolate shavings and fresh raspberries.
