Ingredients
- 4 cups sliced strawberries (1 quart)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2-1/3 cups Original Bisquick® mix
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
- 1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
Preparation
- Heat oven to 425°F. In medium bowl, stir together strawberries and V cup sugar; set aside.
- In another medium bowl, stir Bisquick® mix, milk, 3 tablespoons sugar and melted butter until soft dough forms. Onto ungreased cookie sheet, drop by 6 spoonfuls.
- Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Split warm shortcakes; fill and top with strawberries and
- whipped topping.
