Ingredients
- 1-1/4 cups HONEY MAID Graham Crumbs
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 34 caramels
- 3 Tbsp. milk
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 3 pkg. (250 g each) PHILADELPHIA Brick Cream Cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
Direction
- PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Cover bottom of 9-inch springform pan with parchment paper. Combine crumbs and butter; press firmly onto bottom of prepared pan.
- PLACE caramels and milk in saucepan; cook on low heat until caramels are completely melted and mixture is well blended, stirring frequently. Stir in pecans. Pour over crust.
- BEAT cream cheese, sugar and vanilla with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing on low speed after each addition just until blended. Pour over caramel mixture.
- BAKE 45 to 50 min. or until centre is almost set. Run knife or metal spatula around rim of pan to loosen cake; cool before removing rim of pan. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight. Garnish with additional caramel sauce and pecans, if desired. Store leftover cheesecake in refrigerator.

How to Unwrap Caramels : Having trouble unwrapping caramels? Place them in the freezer for about 20 min. and plastic wrapping will easily peel off.
Make Ahead : Cheesecake can be made ahead and frozen. Thaw overnight in refrigerator and garnish just before serving.
Substitute : Prepare as directed, using Philadelphia Light Cream Cheese.

J'ai fais cette recette pour mon souper du jour de l'An et mes invités m'ont dit que c'était un fabuleux dessert pour commencer l'année c'est un dessert pas trop difficile a faire et copieux c'est un gros gateau qui m'a donné 13 bonnes portions Mais ce gateau n'a pas de finition moi je lui en ai fais une je vais tenter de le mettre avec la photo. Je le recommande et je vais le refaire car il est spectaculaire au gout.
