Ingredients CRUST

  • 2 cups (500 mL) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup (175 mL) butter

TOPPING

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup (250 mL) granulated sugar
  • 1 cup (250 mL) corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup (50 mL) butter, melted
  • 1 (300g) pkg CHIPITS Butterscotch Chips
  • 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) coarsely chopped cashews

DirectionsCRUST

  1. Combine all ingredients for crust, mixing until crumbly. Press firmly into greased 13" x 9" (33 cm x 23 cm) cake pan.
  2. Bake at 350°F (180°C). for 15 to 18 minutes, or until light golden.

TOPPING

  1. Beat eggs, sugar, syrup and melted butter together until blended. Stir in butterscotch chips and cashews. Pour evenly over crust
  2. Bake 25 to 30 minutes longer, or until set and golden. Cool completely then cut into bars.
