ingredients
- 1 cup (250 mL) Hershey CHIPITS Chocolate Mint Chips
- ½ cup (125 mL) butter (for base)
- 1 ¼ cups (300 mL) graham wafer crumbs
- 1 cup (250 mL) flaked coconut
- ½ cup (125 mL) finely chopped nuts
- 2 cups (500 mL) icing sugar
- ¼ cup (50 mL) softened butter (for filling)
- 3 tbsp. (45 mL) milk
- 2 tbsp. (30 mL) custard powder
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) mint extract Green food colour
- ¾ cup (175 mL) Hershey CHIPITS Chocolate Mint Chips (for glaze)
- 2 tsp. (10 mL) vegetable oil
Directions
- For base, melt 1 cup (250mL) CHIPITS Chocolate Mint Chips with ½ cup butter. Stir in graham wafer crumbs, flaked coconut and nuts.
- Press evenly into 9-inch (2.5L) square pan. Chill.
- For filling, blend icing sugar, softened butter, milk, custard powder, mint extract and several drops of the food colour. Spread evenly over chilled base.
- For glaze, melt ¾ cup (175mL) CHIPITS Chocolate Mint Chips with vegetable oil over hot water. Spread evenly over filling. Chill. Cut into squares.
