Cashew Almond Chocolate Crunch

Directions

  1. LINE 9" (23 cm) square pan with foil, extending over edges. Grease foil. Cover bottom of pan with CHIPITS Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips.
  2. COMBINE remaining ingredients in large frying pan. Cook mixture on low, stirring until butter is melted. Increase heat to medium and cook, stirring constantly until mixture comes together and turns light golden.
  3. POUR over chocolate chips. Spread evenly. Cool until chocolate is firm. Remove from pan. Peel off foil. Break into pieces. Store in cool, dry place.

Yield: Makes about 1 1/2 lbs (750 g) candy
Extremely easy and extremely good. Perfect for gift-giving.
TIP: Replace semi-sweet chips with 1 (300 g) pkg CHIPITS® Milk Chocolate Chips or 1 (225 g) CHIPITS® White Chocolate Chips
