Bagel Surprise

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 1 sliced bagel
  • 3 tablespoons of maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon of butter

Preparation

  1. Melt the butter on low heat in a non-stick frying pan. Toast the bagel halves (crust down), in the pan, until golden in colour.
  2. Turn the bagel halves around. Break an egg into the centre of each bagel. Cook for 2-3 minutes for the desired doneness.
  3. Pour the maple syrup into the pan and cook for 1 minute. Accompany with fresh fruit and serve immediately
