Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 tablespoons of butter
- 4 cups of pre-cooked vegetables of your choice (carrots, rutabaga, asparagus, parsnip, cauliflower, brocoli, etc.)
- 1/4 cups of maple syrup
- 1 to tablespoons of lemon juice
- Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste
Method
- Heat oil and melt butter in a large pan on medium heat. Sauté the vegetables gently for 4 to 5 minutes. Season generously.
- Add the maple syrup and lemon juice and bring to a boil. Let the juices reduce to form a glaze for the vegetables. Add more seasoning, if necessary.
