Fruit & Spinach Salad

Ingredients

  • 6 cups baby spinach leaves 1.4 L
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries 237 mL
  • 1 can (10 oz liq./286 mL) mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms 237 mL
  • 2 green onions, sliced 2
  • 3/4 cup bottled poppy seed dressing 177 mL
  • 1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted 118 mL
  • 1/2 cup HORMEL® Real Bacon Bits 118 mL
  • Place spinach in large salad bowl. Add remaining ingredients.
  • Toss to lightly coat with dressing.

Makes 6 servings.
Savoury bacon bits and sweet strawberries make this salad the perfect start to summer.
