Le ketchup-maison

Ingrédients

  • 4,5 kg (10 lb) pulpe de tomates
  • 3 oignons, coupés en morceaux
  • 4 poivrons verts, coupés en morceaux
  • 1 branche de céleri, coupée en morceaux
  • 250 ml (1 tasse) vinaigre
  • 125 ml (1/2 tasse) sucre
  • 30 ml (2 c. à soupe) sel
  • Au choix, épices (cannelle, clous de girofle, gingembre)

Préparation

  1. Faire bouillir la pulpe de tomates, les oignons, les poivrons verts et le céleri. Ajouter le sel, le vinaigre, le sucre et les épices choisies. Faire mijoter jusqu'à ce que le ketchup ait une belle consistance. Verser dans des bocaux stérélisés
